I am an Enlisted Active Duty Air Force Recruiter here to serve the people of Wentzville. My name is Samantha Berkemeyer and I joined the Air Force in 2011 just outside of Nashville, TN. I am married to an Air Force Veteran, Benjamin, and we have a baby boy - Luke and an orange tabby cat - Oliver. My heritage is rich with loved ones who have or are currently serving in the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, and Veterans Affairs. Although I moved around and grew up as an Army Brat, my family roots are still here in St. Louis where I was born. I have always felt that my purpose in life was to heal and help others. My career has provided me that opportunity to fulfill that purpose as an Aerospace Medical Technician (Medic) across the globe at places like RAF Lakenheath, England, Joint Base San Antonio- Randolph, Texas, and Travis AFB, California. I have worked in a variety of health care settings to include: Women's Health, OB/GYN, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Education & Training, and Medical-Surgical Inpatient.

Now I get to extend my purpose even further by coaching, mentoring, and guiding people like you to a career opportunity that has so many open doors & benefits! 

If there is anything that the Air Force has taught me it is this: "You are capable of more than you know!"

I went from being a college dropout working 2-3 jobs, to recovering my self-esteem, realizing my potential, and being a college graduate. I now have an Associates degree in Health Science & a Bachelors degree in Psychology.
